Mother of Nolan Edward (Marilynn) Johnson of LaVergne, TN., Bernadette (Johnny) Robinson, Joyce (Clarence) Landix of Marrero, LA. and the late Donald Johnson. Great grandmother of the late Jarrell James Frank. Daughter of the late Arthur and Ellen Southall Davis. Sister of Edward Davis of Westwego, LA. and the late Freddie Davis, Arthur Davis, Jr., Oliver Davis, and Edwina Thomas. Sister in law of Nolan Johnson of Marrero, LA. Godmother of Wanda Jackson and Terri Lynn Lewis, also survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and devoted friends. Age: 86 years a native of Thibodaux, LA. and a resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, Allen Chapel A.M.E. Methodist Church, Rock of Ages Baptist Church, Silver Spring Missionary Baptist of Smyrna, TN., Mount Pisgah Baptist Church of Jacksonville, AR. and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the wake service at Second Zion Baptist Church 6520 Second Zion Ave. Marrero, LA. on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 7:00p.m. Visitation will begin at 6:00p.m. Funeral services will be held at Allen Chapel A.M. E. Methodist Church 1125 Lagarde St. Thibodaux, LA. on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. Interment: Allen Chapel Cemetery-Thibodaux, LA.
