Robert Thomas, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 2, 2012. Devoted husband of 42 years to Margie M. Thomas. Loving father of Robert Robbie Thomas, Jr., Robin Thomas (Michael) Burpo, Tosha Harris and the late Corey Williams. Son of the late Enoch, Sr. and Lydia Hill Thomas. Brother of Steve (Sonia) Thomas, Enoch, Jr. (Cynthia) Thomas, Alvin Shelby, Bobbie Jean McCaskill, Linda LeBlanc, Brenda Thomas, Lona (Lucilo) Manego, and Sheila (Errol) Augustine and the late Percy and Lenard Thomas. Godfather of Ta-Tanisha Robinson, also survived by a host grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Robert was self employed, he had a long and successful career in the construction Industry. He was a faithful member of the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club and the Cavaliers Social Club. Age: 67 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a longtime resident of Algiers, La. Relatives and friends of the Thomas family also pastors, officers, and members of Life Center Cathedral and neighboring churches are invited to attend the homegoing service at Life Center Cathedral 1 Life Center Dr. Algiers, La. on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church .
