Eulis Joseph Coleman

Eulis Joseph Coleman was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Bayside Health Care Center. Devoted father of Bessie Nicholas, Joycelyn Huntsbury, Sheila and Donald Coleman, Carl, Lamont , and Greg Alcinda, Tahara Riley, Lionel Green, Emma Coleman, and the late Eulis J. Coleman, Jr., Bernadette Boudreaux and Kendra Alcinda. Former husband of the late Bessie Johnson Coleman. Son of the late Willie Coleman, Sr., and Eleanor Willis Coleman. Brother of Bernard W. Coleman, Neva Lewis and the late Elizabeth Scott, Rogers Coleman, Sr. and Eleanor Moore. Grandson of the late Rosetta and Sam Willis; also survived by 25 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 87 years a native of Gretna, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Regular Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Regular Baptist Church, 901 Fifth St. Gretna, La. on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 12:00p.m. Pastor T.A. Hodge, officiating Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: New Hope Cemetery- Gretna, La.
