Donald Dennis, Sr., a retired ship fitter, departed this life on Saturday, October 22, 2011. Husband of Linda Dennis. Loving father of Donald Dennis, Jr. Son of the late Willie Dennis, Sr. and Virginia Ellen White. Brother of Willie Dennis, Jr., Charles Dennis, Evans Dennis, JoAnn Pryor and the late Paul Watkins and Joyce Dora Webber; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, neighbors, other relatives and friends. He was employed with Avondale Shipyard for over 20 years and was a faithful member of Greater St. Stephens Full Gospel Baptist Church and Changing a Generation Church. Age: 58 years a native of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m until funeral time at the above named parlor.
