Leroy Jacob Robinson, a retired veterinarian with Gentilly Animal Hospital, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at his residence. Beloved husband of Doris Robinson. Loving father of Josephine Ransom, Ethel Robinson, Mary Robinson, Darnell Brown, Emma Brown, Leroy Robinson, Jr., Jacob Robinson, Michael Robinson, Jimmie Thomas Robinson and the late Patricia Robinson and Calvin Robinson. Son of the late Leroy Jacob Robinson and Pearl Robinson. Grandson of the late John Martin. Brother of the late Florence Price and Ethel Qulliens; also survived by 40 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Age: 85 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, La. on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
