Monai M. Buchanan departed this life on Sunday, April 3, 2011. Loving mother of Jamal and Jamil Buchanan. Daughter of Moses and Sharlene T. Buchanan. Granddaughter of Marie C. and Melvin J. Terrance, Sr. Great granddaughter of Alvin (Marie) Christopher, Sr. Sister of Monette Buchanan, also survived by 2 aunts, 5 uncles, 5 great aunts, 1 great uncle, 2 godmothers, 1 godfather , and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 23 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion M.B.C. and Morning Star B.C. and neighboring churches.
