Leroy Clofer, Sr.

Leroy Clofer Sr., a retired employee of Celotex, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2010. Former husband of Rosemary (Babee) Clofer. Father of Donald, Leroy, Jr. (Angela), Byron (Courtney), Mario (Shamika) and Debra (Kurt). Loving and caring son of Luverta Gordon Clofer and the late Willard Clofer, Sr.. Brother of Willard (Carrie), Willis (Rhonda), Hayward (Lois), Adam (Diane), Rosalie and the late Erneal, Alfrid, Bobby and Whillemenia; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Leroy attended Lincoln High School. Age: 62 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages B. C., Temple of Praise Ministries, Regular Baptist Church, Bethel Missionary Outreach Ministries, St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church and al neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Parish Head Start, Jefferson Parish Levee, Acts Home Health Care and IESI Co. are invited to attend the funeral service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Rd., Marrero, La., on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Gilbert Barnes, Host Pastor-Rev. Nelson Dexter-officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, La.
