Charles Poochie Shaw completed his earthly journey on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 9:43a.m. after years of struggling with multiple health issues. Husband of Girlie Kristina Shaw. Father of Latasha (Mitchell) Brady of Ozark, Al. Stepfather of Shandrell Wilson, Rondell, Keshell and Garrell Lewis. Grandfather of Jamasha, Nicole, Mia, Mitchell, and Nijah. Son of the late Elizabeth Antoine Shaw and Will Nicholas Shaw. Brother of Iris Shaw, Barbara Shaw-Davis, Marion (Joseph) Woods, Mary Shaw, Joanne (Victor) Montano, Lucy (Ronald) Cornelius, Ervin (Nora) Shaw of Riverside, Ca., Arthur Shaw of San Mateo, Ca., Wilbert (Diane) Shaw of El Paso, Tx., and Michael Shaw. Grandson of the late Elizabeth and Louis Antoine, Sr. Nephew of Murphy Antoine, Sr., Reyna Antoine, Sr. and the late Sainttena Antoine Edmond, Lea Prim Antoine Pierre, Louis Antoine, Jr. and James Big-am Antoine , Sr. Son-in-law of Pearl Wilson. Brother-in-law of Jenny Wilson, Glenda Davenport, Zenobia (Melvin) Pressley, Catherine (Archie) Triggs, Michael Wilson and the late Rogers Lewis, Jr.; also survived by 10 step-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who remain to cherish his memory. Age: 65 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Gretna, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at First New Testament Missionary and Educational Baptist Church, 6112 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, La. on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
