Wortha B. Marine departed this life on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at River Region Hospice House. Wife of the late Julius J. Marine, Sr. Mother of Harold L. Lush of Virginia, Debra L. Augustus of Oaklahoma, Lisa M. Bush, Mark L. Marine, and the late Lorraine L. House. Daughter of the late William and Lou Bolden. Sister of the late Ruby B. Strahan. Mother in law of Dominic C. Bush. Godmother of Sandra S. Duncan, also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 81 years a native of Conner, La. and a resident of Avondale, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Greater St. Stephen FGBC, Beacon Light B.C. and neighboring churches. Employees of Jo Ellen Smith Living Center and Orleans Parish Civil District Clerk of Court are invited to attend the home going celebration at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
