Loretta Nanette Bennett departed this life on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tn. At 12:20a.m. Devoted mother of LaKishia (Jamaal ) Morris, Nakithia, Keryan and Bobby Bennett. Grandmother of Jamaal, Jr. and Jasmine Morris, and Skyla Williams. Daughter of Simon Peter Bennett, Sr. and the late Dorothy Mae Bennett. Sister of Lydia (John) Lewis, Marylyn Thompson, Shelita, Cherelyn, Tyra, Sherell, Kendrick, Roland, Donell, Kevin, Simon, Jr. and Aaron Bennett and the late Sheila Fultz, and Kerry Bennett. Sister in law of the late Milton Thompson. Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 42 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Oak Ridge, Tn. since hurricane Katrina. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, La. on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
