Juanita Frazier Bernard, a retired food service worker died on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 9:15a.m. at Wynhoven Healthcare Center in Marrero, La. Loving wife of the late James Bernard. Mother of Brenda B. Smith and Bertha B. Lawrence. Grandmother of Tyrone Lawrence, Jr., Trenisha Lawrence, Emmanuel Lawrence, and George Smith. Great grandmother of Christopher, Tysha, Mia, Kayla, Tyrian, and Tailor Lawrence. Mother in law of Tyrone Lawrence. Daughter of the late Edna C. Lomax and Edward Frazier. Sister of Edward Frazier, Betty (Louis) Peters, Alfred (Zarita) Frazier, Julius (Brenda) Nero of Nebraska, Shirley Toney and the late Mary Lee Camel, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 79 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La for 39 years. Employees of Wal-Mart (Marrero), Jefferson Parish Sewerage Dept., Popeyes, Lincolnshire Homeowners Org., Tenaris of Houston, Tx., West Jefferson Medical Center, and Wynhoven Hospice are invited to attend the funeral service at True Hope Church of God In Christ 1228 Cohen St. Marrero, La. on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Apostle Reggie Wilson officiating Viewing will be from 8:30.m. until 9:30a.m. at the above named church.
