Troy Hensley departed this life on Monday, December 17, 2012 at the age of 48. He was a native of Marrero, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Beloved husband of Lisa Alexander Hensley. Loving father of Erica, Troy, Wardell and Victoria Alexander. Son of Lawrence Hensley, Sr. and the late Augustine Hensley. Grandson of the late Nelson and Clementine Bazile and Pleasant and Mable Hensley. Brother of Azelea Fazande, Pamela Cruz, Shelia Miller, Australie Campbell, Priscilla Hensley, Karen S. Alexander, Lawrence Hensley, Jr., Ulyesses Hensley and the late Tyrone Hensley. Son-in-law of Arnishie Allean Alexander and the late Alfred Alexander, Sr. Uncle of the late DeShontae Hensley Jones and Ahliyah Carter ; also survived by 9 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, Evening Star Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Zion Baptist Church, 6225 Second Zion Ave. Marrero, La. on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown- officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
