Rosetta (Weem) (Mama Rose) Knapper Jones departed this life at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La. Lon Friday, February 18, 2011 at 5:20p.m. Mother of Ruthie Jones, Ida Kinchen, Patricia (David) Webb, Rose (Donald) Winchester, Larry (Kathleen) Williams, Robert (Daisy) Williams, Micheal Williams, Samuel Jones, Willie (Janice) Jones, and Bertrand (Peggy) Jones. Sister of Robert and Sherman Knapper. Special friend of Vonne Davis and Laura Thigpen of Avondale, La. Special neighbor of Margaret Mackey Boyd, also survived by 34 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 86 years a native of Waterproof, La. and a resident of Avondale, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second St. John Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Second St. John Baptist Church 242 Avondale Garden Rd.
