Sammy Man-Man Walker, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at 12:30p.m. at the home of his loving parents. Father of Mankeisha Pike. Loving son of Sammie Lobo Walker, Jr. and Mollie Clark Walker. Brother of Sandra Leonard, Jeanie, Alica, Taminika, and Christopher Walker, and the late Henry Johnson. Uncle of Nicholle and LaChonna Walker, Ronjenae Richard, Michael King, Rashad and Rashonda Leonard. Nephew of Alice Robertson. Cousin of Clyde Mac Montgomery. Former husband of Nelka Smith, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 35 years a native of Marrero, La. and a resident of Algiers, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church and neighboring churches, along with the members of Soul Knights M.C. of N.O., Prince Hall Masonic Body, and OES. Employees of English Turn and Sams are invited to attend the funeral service at Shiloh Missionary B.C., 1419 4th St. Westwego, La. on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
