J D Allmon

J. D. Allmon age 88, fell asleep when the sweet spirit of the Lord called him to his eternal home. Beloved and devoted husband of 65 years to Clementine Young Allmon, I ll always love you. Father of Beverly (Raymond) Coster, James (Dorethea) Allmon, Karl Allmon, Sr., Norris (Timothy Jr.) Johnson, Arlene (Eddie Jr.) White, and Julia Nadine Johnson. Grandfather of Bianca, Reginald, Nicole, James, Jr., Karl, Jr., Kharla, Kellie, Timothy, Jr., Julius, Eddie III, Aldo, Jr., and Sebastian. He is preceded in death by his parents, the late Willie Allmon and Julia Rosalee Jacob, his brother, Samson Jacob and his great granddaughter Laylah J. White, He is survived by his brother of A. D. (Ida) Allmon of Lemoore, CA., Godfather of Junius (Mary) Jones of Indiana and Kiwanis Holman of Durham, N.C. , also survived and fondly remembered by 13 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and dear friends. A native of Muskogee, OK. and a resident of Harvey, LA for 56 years, Mr. Allmon was a well known figure in Harvey. He touched the lives of many with his kind and compassionate heart. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Church of God International, Israel Baptist Church, Church Without Walls Of Houston, TX, Word of Faith of East New Orleans, Christ the King Baptist Church of Milwaukee, WI, Greater St. Mary Baptist Church of Algiers, Mount Zion Baptist of Tullahoma, TN, and all neighboring churches; employees of LSUHSC School of Nursing are invited to attend the funeral service at Israel Baptist Church 1612 Estalote St. Harvey, LA., Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. " 9:30 a.m. at the above named church.
