Lillian Mae Alexis passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Beloved wife of Louis Alexis, Sr. Mother of Cheryl Young of Mashpee, Ma., Beulah Hadrick of Houston, Tx., Alvin Alexis of Gretna, La., Louis Alexis of Westwego, La. and the late Beverly Alexis. Grandmother of the late Bryon Hadrick and Tristen Joseph Hill. Daughter of the late Beulah Washington and Sidney Sanders, Sr. Mother in law of the late Frank Calvin Young. Sister in law of Shirley Showell of Mashpee, Ma., also survived by 12 grandchilden, 21 great grandchild, 1 great great grandchild, 2 aunts, 1 niece and nephew and a host of other cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 83 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Westwego, La. for the past 43 years. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, offices, and members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service on Monday May, 2, 2011 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church 1419 4th St. Westwego, La. @ 10:00a.m. Rev. Woodrow Hayden officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above name church. Interment: St. Johns Cemetery-Thibodaux, La.
