Lionel Cornelius Jackson, Sr. peacefully entered into eternal rest at his residence on Monday, November 5, 2012. Devoted husband of 51 years to Faye Keiffer Jackson. Loving father of Romney Jackson (Eric Ali) Rahmaan and Lionel Jackson, Jr. Grandfather of Michael and Kapricee Landry (father Michael, Sr.) Larenz and Camyrn Jackson (mother Raquel Favorite). Great grandfather of Ashlyn, Revelation, Genesis, and Royal. Son of the late James, Sr. and Rose Mary Jackson. Brother of James (Joyelyn) and Patricia (Eddie). Nephew of Willie Jackson, Gertrude Woods, Rita Ferdinand, and Mae Walker. Son in law of the late Harry and Mary Keiffer. Brother in law of Doris Keiffer (the late Rudy) Silvan, Brenda Keiffer (Ronald) Jackson. Devoted friend of Leon Forges, Emile Herbert, Albert Webber, Herbert Brazile, Al and Charles Carter, Thomas Nuriddin, Lavern Johnson, and Murphy Clark, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 72 years a native and resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the mass of Christian burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, La. on Thursday November, 15, 2012 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. Celebration of life from 9:15a.m. until service time at the above named church.
