Sadie Perkins Jones was called by the Lord to eternal rest on Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Beloved mother of Margaret Mitchell (Harold), Michael Jones, Herbert Jones (Isabella), Patricia Donald (Joseph), Deborah Morgan, Deidre Jones, and Joyce Kovacs (Steve) and the late Riley Jones, Jr. and Ernest Jones. Mother-in-law of Rayford Morgan. Daughter of the late Berts Perkins, Sr., and Elvira Alexander Perkins. Sister of Superintendent Nathaniel Griffin, Sr., Gladys Edwards, Annabelle Simmons and the late Berts Perkins, Jr., Rosa Harris, Eula Mae Davis, Lillian Woods, Earline Jones, Joseph Perkins Sr., and Elizabeth Brown, also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 88 years, a native of Houma, LA. and a resident of Marrero, LA.
