Johnnie Louise Glenn completed her earthly journey and returned home to rest in the arms of her Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at West Jefferson Hospital. Beloved wife of 49 years to the late Robert L. Glenn, Sr. Loving mother of Larry C. Glenn, Sondia Glenn-Edwards and the late Robert L. Glenn, Jr. Grandmother of Derron R. Howard, Sr. (Denisela DeMesme) and Robert Bobby Glenn Dennis. Great-grandmother of Kristen A. Hilliard and Derron R. Howard, II. Daughter of the late Douglas and Viola Williams. Aunt of Willie Buddy McGee, Jr.; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 87 years a native of Memphis, Tn., a former resident of Ruleville, Ms. and a resident of Marrero, La. for over 56 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion Baptist Church #3 and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Little Zion Baptist Church #3, 441 Wilson St. Marrero, La. on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman Duhon Smith, III-officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
