HANDY Mrs. Rose Stanton Handy, age 85, passed away on August 20th. Born to the union of the late Mr. Johnny Stanton and Mrs. Lily Stanton of Natchez, MS. Mother of Jenell H. Boyd, Melvin Handy Jr., Joycelyn H. Carney, David M. (Avanel) Handy Sr., Kim B. Handy; 12 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her late husband Melvin Handy Sr, and 1 son Maurice P. Handy, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Services to be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Friday August 26 at 10:00am 1835 St. Roch Ave. New Orleans. LA.
