Mable Etienne Daggs entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Beloved daughter of the late Ulysse, Sr. and Volena Neller Etienne. Loving mother of Gwendolyn Daggs (Larry) Rogers, Ronald A. Daggs and Kenneth (Cynthia) Daggs. Adoring grandmother of Ryan J. (Shannon) Rogers, Rodney J. Rogers and Kayla V. Daggs. Great grandmother of Landon J. and Logan J. Rogers. Step-grandmother of Andre Dozier. Step-great grandmother of Keyondre, Kayla, Dillon and Gavin Dozier. Also survived by her devoted former husband August Daggs, Jr. and a host nieces, nephews, one sister-in-law, three goddaughters, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters, eight brothers and four sisters-in-law. Mable was a retired fabricator of Branton Insulations with over 20 years of service and a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church serving many years on the usher board. She was a kind and loving person who would greet you with her beautiful smile that will be loved and missed by those who knew her. Age: 79 years a native of St. Martinville, La. and a resident of Marrero, La.
