Eula Mae Grandison Watkins went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 20. 2011. Beloved wife of the late Norwood Watkins. Loving mother of Zachary and Deon (Arentte) Calvin. Stepmother of Justin Bonds. Grandmother of LaKisha Herrera, Gabrielle Lee, Zachary, II, Deon, Ariel and Bria Calvin. Great-grandmother of Kylan, Kesai and KZjari Herrera. Daughter of the late Aldrena Smith and Alfred Grandison. Sister of Carolyn (Charles) Williams, Barbara Pierre, Yvonne Brown (Hernan) Hernandez, Vincent (Sandra) Kasier and the late Reginald Kaiser; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Eula will always be remembered for her generosity to her family and everyone in her community. Age: 69 years a native a New Orleans, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of family, also pastors, officer, and members of Regular Baptist Church, Life Center Cathedral and all neighboring churches; employees of Cooper T. Smith, Davita Dialysis, and Belle View Nursing Home are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Regular Baptist Church, 901 5th St. Gretna, La. on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Toy Hodge-officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
