Ina Mae Jenkins passed from this life to her eternal home on Sunday, June 26, 2011. Beloved wife of the late George Jenkins, Sr. Mother of Lena Buckley, Georgia Cavalier, Ina Gallagher, George Jenkins, Jr., Kelvin Jenkins, Sheila Jenkins, and Jewel Williams. Daughter of the late Mose and Rosemary Hampton Shields. Sister of the late Carrie Lee Jones, also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other relatives and friend. Age: 81 years a native of Eunice, Ms. and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mount Herman Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Mount Herman Baptist Church 2153 North Broad St. New Orleans, La. on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
