David George Blackmon, Sr. departed this life at LSU Interim University Hospital on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 1:45p.m. Father of AhLeah, Dayshia, and David Blackmon, Jr. Son of David James Blackmon, Jr. and Amelia Evans Blackmon. Grandson of David J. Blackmon, Sr. and Bobbie Nell Blackmon, Alfred R. Evans and Alberta W. Evans. Great grandson of the late George and Muriel Watson. Brother of Carlos Watson and Keyonca Wilder, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 21 years a native and resident of Westwego, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
