Thomas Rousell

Thomas Rousell, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 after an 11 year battle with Leukemia. Beloved husband of Janis Forbes Rousell. Father of Carl (Darnell) Rousell, Bryant Keith (Lana) Rousell, Trische Kaigler and the late Eric Rousell. Son of the late Thomas Rousell, Sr. and Beatrice Rousell Morton. Stepson of the late James Morton, Sr. Brother of Betty (Harold) Nelson, Donald Morton, James Morton, Jr. and the late Shirley McClondon and Jacqueline Morton. Stepbrother of Charles Morton. Son in law of Augustine Forbes, also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 68 years a native New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, Morning Star Baptist Church and all neighboring churches. Employees of # 1 Priority Care Service, U. S. Postal Service, Building Block Daycare, and West Jefferson Medical Center are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above name parlor.
