Daughter of the late Rev. Eckard Johnson, Sr. and Isabelle Alexander Johnson. Grandmother of Aiesha Duplessis, Justin M. Brown, Bailey N. Duplessis and Jordan T. Duplessis. Sister of Joycelyn (Elbert) Johnson, Isabelle Melvina J. (Albert Ray) Sias, Carolyn J. (Kevin) Dillard, Eckard (Catherine) Johnson, Jr., and Jean J. Miller (Leon) Hurst. Niece of Joseph (Delores) Johnson, Sr., Anderson Alexander, Rose Wilson of Silver Spring, MD. Niece-in-law of Nancy Johnson. Sister-in-law of Antoine (Velma) Duplessis, Viola Bivens, Lois Solomon, and Claudia (Abraham) Grant; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 72 years a native of Oakville, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Oakville Missionary Baptist Church and al neighboring churches; employees of Chevron Chemical Plant, St. Paul Benevolent Association and Egan Hospice are invited to attend the Home Going Celebration at Oakville Missionary Baptist Church, 124 W. Oakville St. Belle Chasse, La. on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 11:00a.m. Bishop Wilfret Johnson, officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above name church.
