Linda Ann Canady passed away on Friday, September 7, 2012. Beloved daughter of the late Dorothy (Madea) Sterling and James Canady. Loving sister of Clara Taylor. Adored aunt of Stanley Watkins, Carolyn Williams, Clarence A. Watkins, Leonard Watkins, Fredrick Watkins, Gwendolyn Scott, Ronald Watkins, Lorna Lilly, Kimberly Dixon and the late Norman Watkins; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 54 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Greater Mount Calvary Church, Progressive Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Service at Progressive Baptist Church, 437 Cohen St. Marrero, La. on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Sterling Mealancon, host pastor, Elder Terry Gullage, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
