Shirley Ferdinand Lee was called home on Thursday, October 28, 2010. Wife of the late Herbert Howard, Sr. by first marriage and Lucien Lee by second marriage. Mother of Ronald Howard and the late Dianne Ferdinand, Linda Howard, and Herbert Howard, Jr. Daughter of the late Saul, Sr. and Naomi Ferdinand. Devoted grandmother of Lyndon Ferdinand. Sister of Marie Demery of Corona, Ca., Roselie Daigs and Hazel Howard both of Marrero, La., Lois Delahoussaye of Sacramento, Ca., and Marion (August) Pierce of Gretna, La. and the late Saul Ferdinand, Josephine Anthony, Dorothy Sims, and Ann Carter. Mother in law of the late Linda Howard , also survived by 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 73 years a native of Marrero, La. and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Rock Of Ages Baptist Church, Friendship Community MBC and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Rock Of Ages Baptist Church 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, La. on Saturday November 6, 2010 at 10:00a.m.Rev.
