Stanley Ball entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at his residence. He was an Inventory Control Clerk with Smuckers Food Service. Beloved husband of Carolyn Ball. Loving father of Trenese Valdery, Devin, Stanley and Joshua Cyres. Stepfather of Nakisha, Reggie and Desaree Baker. Grandfather of the late MaKayla Valdery. Son of Ozzie W. Ball and the late E. J. Ball. Brother of Everette (Roslyn) Ball, Edmond (Sandra) Ball, Frances Bowie, Emma (Lawrence) Carr and Linda Ball. Son-in-law of Herbert and Pearlie Baker. Brother-in-law of Donna (Eugene) Baker, Gilda (Vernon) Christoff, Alacia Baker, Trenace (James) Jefferson and Major Burton (Bernadine Vardell). Also survived 8 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 53 years a native of Tylertown, Ms. and a resident of Westwego, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also, pastors, officers and members of Second St. John Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Department and Family Service, Walmart (Jefferson Hwy), RTA, Keller Realty and Whole Foods Market are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Charlie R. Davis, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery- Avondale, La.
