Willa B. Taylor entered into eternal rest at Wynhoven Health Care Center on Thursday, February 10, 2011. Wife of the late August F. Taylor, Jr. by second marriage and Leo Richard Thompson, Sr., by first marriage. Mother of Leo R. (Theresa) Thompson, Jr., and Kenneth (Cheryl) Taylor, Sr. Stepmother of Gwen Trudeau, Anthony Taylor, and Paula Johnson and the late August Taylor, III. Grandmother of Reginald L. (Veronica)Thompson, Chassidy T. Jones, April M.Taylor, and Kenneth Taylor, Jr. Great grandmother of Ashton C. Porter, and Chloe R. Porter. Daughter of the late Wallace E. Baptiste, Sr., and Malica Preston Baptiste. Sister of the late Wallace E. Baptiste, Jr., Gloria Baptiste Chase, Phillip Baptiste, Sr., Willis Ray Baptiste, Sr., Willie J. Baptiste, Sr. and Louise Mackie Baptiste. Sister in law of Bertha Baptiste and Lorraine Baptiste, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 83 years a native and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Progressive Church and neighboring churches. Employees of Pauda House are invited to attend the funeral service at Progressive Church 437 Cohen Ave. Marrero, La. on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
