Rebecca Momma Davis Mickey fell asleep on Friday, June 17, 2011 and is now waiting on the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Wife of the late Ed Buck Mickey, Jr. Mother of Edward Louis Mickey, Sr., Adell M. (Wendolyn) Kent , Monique Mickey, Fanette M. (Kenneth) Craft, Faye M. (Sylvester) Bates, Darleen M. Gilbert, and the late Annie Lee Mickey, Eardell Mickey Watson, and Melvin Mickey, Sr. Stepmother of Albert Mickey. Devoted grandmother of Edward Chucky Louis (Felicia) Mickey, Jr. Daughter of the late Lee Davis and Francis Skinner Berkley. Step daughter on Johanna Davis. Sister of Lois and Doris Davis and the late Lee Dell Carter, Alex Davis, Jessie Davis, Rosemary Davis and Ella Mae Davis. Sister in law of Robert Lee Mickey, Sr. of Chicago, IL. Devoted aunt of Roxanne McCray , Sandra Diane Britton, and Vera Joseph. Devoted cousins and friends Clara Knapper, Francis Craft, Lela Washington, and Alice Skinner , also survived by 24 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 84 years a native St. Joseph, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches. Employees of Jefferson Parish Juvenile Services, Jefferson Parish Code Enforcement, Belle Chasse Academy, Freddie Mac, and Fayes Day Care are invited to attend the funeral service at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church 1419 4th St. Westwego, La. on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Woodrow Hayden officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, La.
