Jerolean Washington was called home to be with Christ on Saturday, July 31, 2010, at her residence. Devoted wife of Henry Washington. Loving mother of Gloria Consonery of Thibodaux, La., Jill Washington of Algiers, La., Cornell Bridges of Marrero, La. and Jerald Washington of Richmond, Tx., Daughter of the late Leoda and Cora Catchings Bridges. Sister of Hazel Thomas of Westwego, La., Doris Marie Banks of Pinola, Ms., Fred Barnes of Chicago, Il., Arthur Bridges of Crystal Springs, Ms., Odie B. Bridges of St. Louis, Mo. and Eugene Bridges of Westwego, La. Sister-in-law of Emanuel Washington, Mary Jane and Ruby Washington all of Flora, Ms., also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 78 years a native of Harrisville, Ms. and a resident of Avondale, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Marks Fourth Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at St. Marks Fourth Baptist Church 2130 Perdido St. New Orleans, La. on Saturday August 7, 2010 at 11:00a.m. and visitation beginning at 9:00a.m. Viewing will be held at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Friday August 6, 2010 from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, La.
