Sherman J. (Ninnie Boyie) Williams, Sr. departed this life at his residence on Thursday, March 31, 2011 Beloved husband of Janice H. Williams. Devoted father of Carol Ann, Trequillia, Sherman, Terrence and Nortell Williams and the late Barbara Jean Williams. Son of the late Winnie and Henry Williams, Sr. Brother of Noella and Henry Williams, Jr. and the late Edward Williams, also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Age: 72 Years A Native of Pointe-ala- Hache, La. and a resident of Marrero, Phoenix and Violet, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the mass of Christian burial from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 2621 Colonial Blvd. Violet, La. on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. ( No Wake ) Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the above named church.
