Freddie Washington, Jr. one of Gods servants, departed this earth to enter his new home in glory on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Loving husband of 63 years to Viola Jones Washington. Father of Ralph Washington. Grandfather of Ralshella and Britianella Washington. Son of the late Freddie Washington, Sr. and Leola R. Washington. Brother of Lawrence (Idella) Washington, Betty W. Dean, Yvonne W. (Herbert) Washington, and the late Rosemary W. Williams, Henry and Percy Washington. Devoted uncle of Sharon Walker Lemieux. Brother in law of Audrey Washington, and the late Beatrice Washington, Oletha Butilla, Evelyn Norris, Clarence Dean, Christopher Norris, Ernest and Joseph Scott, also survived by a host of many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was the retired business owner of Washingtons Auto Parts and Repairs, and a retired Jefferson Parish Public School System bus driver of 40 years. Age: 82 years a native and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church 831 Wayne Avenue Westwego, La. on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Robert L. Davison officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Bright Star Cemetery-Marrero, La. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230.
