Christopher (Chris) C. Rideau, Sr. departed this life on Sunday, July 10, 2011. Devoted husband of Latoyah D. Rideau. Loving father of Christopher, Jr. and Khrisette Rideau. Son of Burley (Debra) Charles and the late Karen M. Rideau. Brother of Burley Mosley, Shanika (Norton) Brower, Javonda Mosley and the late Joseph B. Rideau. Grandson of Johnny and Jean L. Rideau. Uncle of Norein, Nijah, and SyLai Gabriel, Keviontay, Anealya and Kevin Bush, Jonisha Wells, Joseph McBowe, Tory Horten and Calvin Watkins. Son-in-law of Cynthia C. Devore and Archie (Lillian) Davis. Brother- in-law of Reginald Devore, Archie Davis, Jr., Sytillia Devore and Janet Wilson. Godson of JoAnn Watkins; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and associates. Age: 30 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Fischer Community Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Fischer Community Church, 1737 L. Landry Ave., New Orleans, La., on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown, Host Pastor- Minister Raymond Hunter, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
