George W. Smith departed this life on Monday, January 7, 2013 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Loving father of Keiana and Rashad Smith. Former spouse of Janice S. Poche. Son of the late Elijah Sr., and Ollie M. Smith. Brother of Elijah, Jr., Frank, Louis and Ronald Smith, Irene Polly, Elnora Smith, Susan Webb, Loretta Miller Smith, Hilda Livicus and the late Willie and Lorraine Smith; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends. Age: 57 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Second Highway Baptist Church, New Home Ministries and neighboring churches; employees of Academy Sports and Outdoors are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Highway Baptist Church, 1533 Haydel Dr. Marrero, La. on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Sherman R.
