Marvin Earl Gaines, Sr. departed this life at his residence on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 8:03a.m. Beloved husband of Juanita Gaines. Father of Marvin Earl Gains, Jr., Davon Gaines, Dwayne Gaines, Ashauntay Gaines, Jermie Gaines, and Kanika Gaines. Stepfather of Jamesztter Poole. Son of the late Earl Gaines and Elnora Roussell Gaines. Brother of Henry Roussell, Jr., Richard Roussell, Ernest Roussell, Marion Gaines, Norma Johnson, Gloria Carter, Lynette Lovely, and the late Ruby McCall, Loranier Cullier, Harold Roussell, Sr. and Clarence Roussell, also survived by 13 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 55 years a native of Marrero, LA. and a resident of Harvey, LA. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Morning Star Baptist Church 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, LA. on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Thomas Brown, Jr. officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until 9:45a.m. at the above named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
