Isreal Meno Johnson, Sr. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 19, 2012. Beloved husband of 73 years to Florence Broden Johnson. Loving father of Isreal, Jr., Lionel. Sr. and the late George Johnson, Sr. Son of the late Willie Johnson and Rosa Bell Johnson Dennis. Stepson of the late Alex Dennis. Grandfather of the late Dwayne Johnson. Brother of the late Frederick, George and Jeffery Johnson and Aldonia Johnson Allen. Father-in-law of Lorraine and Betty Johnson. Brother-in-law of Shirley Dennis and the late Daniel Allen, Sr., Ella and Dorothy Johnson; also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 93 years a native of St. James, La. and a resident of Avondale, La. Relatives and friends of family, also pastors, officers and members of Second Bethlehem Baptist Church, Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, Household of Faith Family Worship Church International and all neighboring churches are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, 3512 Hwy 90 W Avondale, La. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Travis A.
