Myrtis Lee Dillon Singleton

Myrtis Lee Dillon Singleton, a loving mother and grandmother, departed this life on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the tender age of 80. Wife of the late Jethro Singleton and Eddie Lee Conerly. Mother of Donies (Larry) Magee, Essie (Willie) Thomas, Nelson (Robin) Dexter, Jeffrey (Linda Ann) Conerly, Frederick (Sonia) Conerly, and Eddie Conerly. Daughter of the late Shirley Ann Causey and Timothy Dillon. Sister of Cleo Dillon, Marie Dexter and the late Myrtis Dillon, also survived by a host of grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A native of Franklinton, La. and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Temple of Praise Ministries and neighboring churches. Employees of Myrtle C. Thibodeaux and Paul J. Solis are invited to attend the funeral service at Temple of Praise Ministries 1821 Commercial Dr. Suite A, Harvey, La. on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin @ 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
