Karen Annette Davis entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in Harvey, La. Beloved daughter of Hazel Rogers Davis and the late Esau Davis. Sister of Larry (Gwen) and Nathan Rogers, Cynthia and Karl (Deidre) Davis and the late Albert Louis Rogers. Niece of Rosetta Hammond, Willie Mae Davis, Gladys Tigler, Ruby Alexander, Edward (Beryl) Rogers, and Winnie Davis Jones. Godmother of Adrian Major and Brenae Tigler. Dear friend of Anderson Watts, also survived by 2 nieces, 6 nephews, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 51 years native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Greater Mt. Calvary Church, Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Life Center Cathedral and neighboring churches. Faculty, staff and students of Woodmere Elementary, Miller Wall Elementary, and former faculty, staff and students of L. W. Ruppel Elementary are invited to attend the funeral service at Greater Mt.
