Celestine Harris Jones, passed from this life to glory on Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Jones, Sr. Caring mother of Rev. Anthony H. Williams, Selton Jones, Sr., Thomas Jones, Jr., Martin Jones, Sr., Dianna Jones, Ronald Jones, Sr., Michael Jones, Sr., Pastor Donald R. Jones, Christine Jones, Susanne Jones and the late Catherine Jones. Daughter of the late Ernest Harris and Philomena Green Harris. Loving sister of Dorothy Alexander and the late Preston Harris, Goefrey Harris, Winfield Harris, Ernestine Harris Bastian, Florence Harris Percy, and Isabelle Harris Adams; also survived by 42 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was a native of Edgard, La. and a resident of Avondale, La. for the past 41 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also, pastors, officers and member of Bethesda House of Prayer and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Bethesda House of Prayer, 7601 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. " 9:45a.m. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery- Avondale, La.
