Eloies Taylor Manning Winston departed this life on Friday, December 31, 2010 At West Jefferson Medical Center. She was a supervisor at Belle Chasse State School for many years. Wife of the late Nehemiah Manning by first marriage and the late Louis Winston, Jr. by second marriage. Devoted mother of Mary Louise M. Carmouche, Mary Lois M. (Solomon) Woods, Floyd Manning and the late Nehemiah Manning, Jr. Loving grandmother of Shelia M. (Wayne) Harris, Melinda Bazley, Karen Carmouche, Shannon (Willie) Hollis, Tyra (Reginald) Manning, Kevin (Aisha) Carmouche and Darius (Flicia) Carmouche. Daughter of the late Noah and Cornelius Taylor. Sister of Louis T. (Annie) Taylor, Gustavia (Brodie) Dunn and the late Esau Taylor (her twin), Aggie Lee Lampkin, and John Willie Taylor; also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 84 years a native of Ruston, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Paul Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Paul Baptist Church,1509 Monroe St. Gretna, La. on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Orin Grant officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park cemetery-Avondale, La.
