John Lawrence Pippi Smith entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at his residence after a brief illness. Son of the late Nelson Smith, Sr. and Cora Leona Davis Smith. Brother of Nelson Smith, Jr. and Albertha Smith Keeler, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends Age: 64 years a native and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Joseph Baptist Church, Regular Baptist Church and neighboring churches. Employees of Total Marine in Harvey, La., Tunisburg Square Homeowners Civic Association, McClendonville Community, Star of Hope # 17 OES, and Bellsouth Retiree Luncheon Group are invited to attend the funeral service at St. Joseph Baptist Church 1100 Odeon St. New Orleans, La. on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
