RoseMary Mae Adams Jackson entered into eternal rest on Tuesday July 12, 2011 at Ochsner Medical Center Jefferson. Wife of the late Arthur Peterson, Jr. and Philip J. Jackson, Jr. Beloved mother of Darrell, Sheila (Michael), Lil Rosemary (Darryl), NaKesia (Gilbert), Reginald, Donald (Shalinda), Veronica (Claude), Keith, Kenneth, Ronald, Willette (Joe), Terrilyn, Ann Marie (Wayne), and Kim, and the late Rev. Gregory Peterson. Stepmother of the late Bobby Glen Jackson and John Robinson. Daughter of the late Phillip, Sr. and Mary Adams. Sister of Carroll (Gloria) Adams, Sr., Clifford (Linda) Adams, Phillip Adams, Jr., Barbara Clark, Elizabeth Scioneaux, and the late Michael J. Adams. Sister in law of Charles Jackson, Sr., Ophelia Smith, Mary Collins, Janice Franklin, and Lucille Neville. Godmother of Phillip Adams, Jr., Sean Adams, Shawanda Veal, and LaShawn (Nikki) Johnson. Devoted friends of Barbara Payton and Beverly Davis. Daughter in law of the late Philip Jackson, Sr., Arthur Peterson, Sr., Ida Phipps, Alberta Jackson and Lillian Peterson. Preceded in death by 8 sisters in law, 8 brothers in law, also survived by 34 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 65 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Westwego, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Dominion and Power Ministries and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church 1419 4th St. Westwego, La. on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Woodrow Hayden officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, La.
