Joyce Davis Francois Johnson departed this life on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Wife of the late Edward Clarence Johnson. Mother of Sheryl James, Sherise, Michael, Leon, and Clarence Francois, and the late Keith, Vanessa, and Reginald Francois, and Gwendolyn and Edward Johnson. Daughter of the late Agnes and Paul Lewis. Niece of Loretha Jones. Godmother of Yolanda Howard, also survived by 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 3 sisters in law, 1 brother in law, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Baptist Church and neighboring churches. Employees of West Jefferson Medical Center, Azalea Bingo Hall, Gretna Bingo Palace, Avondale Shipyard, Jefferson Parish Juvenile Justice Division, St. Charles Parish School System, Men of Power Social Club, and Hard Rock Marine Company are invited to attend the funeral service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, La. on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Percy Howard officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
