Jackson, Jr. was called into the Kingdom of God and his loving Saviors arms on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at River Region Hospice.Beloved and devoted husband of Rosemary Jackson by second marriage and the late Shirley Ferzande Jackson by first marriage. Father of Reginald, Donald (Shalinda), Veronica (Claude), Keith, Kenneth, Ronald, Willette (Joe), Terrilyn, Ann Marie (Wayne), Kim, Darrell, Sheila (Michael), Lil Rosemary (Darryl), Nakesia (Gilbert) and the late Bobby Glen. Stepfather of the late John Robinson and Rev. Gregory Peterson. Son of the late Phillip J. Jackson, Sr. and Ida Phipps. Stepson of the late Alberta Jackson. Brother of Ophelia Smith, Mary Collins and Charles Jackson, Sr. Preceded in death by 1 brother, 1 sister, 3 stepbrothers and 1 brother-in-law; also survived by 34 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 1 godson, 2 sisters-in law, 3 brothers-in-law and a host of, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 77 years a native of Concordia Parish, La. and a resident of Westwego, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church 1419 4th St. Westwego, La. on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Woodrow Hayden officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery Avondale, La.
