Isreal Bonnie Williams, Sr., a retired custodian of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Marrero, La., was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Wynhoven Health Care Center. Beloved husband of 63 years to Mary Louise Growe Williams. Loving father of Jacquelyn Williams, Wanda Jackson, Corla Ann McDaniel and the late Isreal, Jr. and Reginald Williams. Devoted grandfather of Chandra (Cory) Cuillier, LaKeisha (Ron) Frazier, and Robert (Tyon) Jackson. Son of the late Thomas and Sophie Williams, Sr. Brother of Rev. Solomon Williams, Eva Stewart and the late Herbert, Sr., Lawrence, Rev. Thomas, Jr., Cornelius, Sr., and Matthew Williams, Ora Belle Rybiskie, Leona Cage and Ethel Belle Johnson; also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, 1 brother-in-law, 4 sisters-in-law, 2 godchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Bonnie as he was affectionately called by family and friends was a true pillar of the Walkertown Community and will always be remembered for his dedication to his church and community. Age: 85 years a native of Vacherie, La. and a resident of Marrero, La.
