William Walker, Sr., a retired longshoreman, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 24, 2012 at his residence. Beloved husband of the late Olevia Wright Walker. Loving father of Isaac McCullum, Ralph Walker, Sr. and William Walker, Jr. Son of the late Julia and Johnny Walker, Sr. Brother of Clarence Walker, Sadonia W. Nelson, Betty W. Collins and the late Johnny Walker, Jr., Albert Walker, Sr. and Selina W. Brown; also survived by 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 88 years, a native of Plaquemine, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion Baptist Church #3 and all neighboring churches; members of Pride of Marrero, Daughters of Marrero Chapter 41, 33rd St. John Grand Royal Arch, Knights of Templar, Sphinx Royal and Exalted Order of Amaranth are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Little Zion Baptist Church #3, 441 Wilson Rd. Marrero, La. on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman Smith, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
