Keian Cataze Ester

Keian (Tank) Cataze Ester, a fifth grader at George Cox Elementary School, departed this life and crossed over to Glory on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Loving son of Keith Ester, Tameka Johnson Ester and her devoted friend Jesse Durant. Brother of AKeila and TaKeila Ester, Trishon Singleton, Keiann Williams, Keira and Keith Ruffin, Keion Carey, Keitrel and Bryant Gumms and the late Keitwion Ester. Grandson of Caze Butler, Jr., Roosevelt Ester, Geraldine Johnson, Beatrice Butler and Erna Terrell. Great-grandson of Juanita and Caze Butler, Sr. Nephew of Sarayia Ester, Monroe, Christopher and Caze Johnson, Beauford McGowan, and Javon Williams. Great nephew of Deborah Chess, Carolyn Terrell Sumers, Sharron Neal and Cheryl Butler. God-brother of Tyrik Noble. Devoted friend of Juwan Houston, Marvin, Israel and Donte Jones and DAndre LaFrance; also survived by a host of other siblings, relatives and friends. Keian loved playing basketball, football, video games, singing, dancing and drawing. Age: 11 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; staff and students of George Cox Elementary School are invited to attend the funeral service at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 1419 4th St. Westwego, La. on Monday, January 16, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Woodrow Hayden-officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
