Helen Gross Landry

Helen Gross Landry peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 26, 2012 surrounded by family at the age of 94. She was a native of Lutcher, La. and a resident of New Orleans, La. Beloved wife of the late Paul Landry. Daughter of the late Dennis and Addie Gross. Loving mother of Betty L. Washington, Carolyn L. Badon, Joyce L. Wright and Paulette L. Jackson. Sister of Irene Dorsey and Silas Gross of San Diego, Ca.; also survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of New Mount Era Baptist Church, Dominion & Power Ministries and Oak Grove Baptist Church are invited to attend the Funeral Service at New Mount Era Baptist Church, 2519 South Prieur St., New Orleans, La. on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Claude Mitchell, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m.-10:00a.m. ONLY at the above named church. Interment: Providence Memorial Park Cemetery- Metairie, La.
